Tough times in Iceland these days. The economic recession has hit the country hard.
The advertising and media business is going through 40-60% downsizing so it affects us all. Ratsjá is still managing but we're really trying to find new innovative business strategies to strengthen our business model.
Most Icelanders are constructing a plan b, some are moving abroad to make earnings in a stronger currency, some are going back to school, a few are creating new business ventures and some are doing some great grass root work to stimulate innovation and entrepreneurship.
Agnes is working in an event management company, that business like so many others is feeling the heat.
