We've seen a glimps of the new Facebook Headquarters in Paolo Alto before, but now via contemporist.com we've got invited inside. What an amazing atmosphere on top of the ideology of an eco friendly workplace.
As a cyclist I was proud to see some real fixies to back up the innovative environment! For more pictures go to http://bit.ly/4BV8Jp

Comuting and bike culture in Reykjavik
As many know I live and work in Reykjavik, Iceland. I commute to work by bike and I'm relatively involved in the bicycle culture in Reykjavík.
The Reykjavik bike scene has been quite flat until recently with successful Bike to work week, the opening of local shops like David's Kria Cycles and with the city showing greater interest in bicycling as an transportational option.

Yesterday I met two guys from the Reykjavik City Transportation and environmental office. One of them was using an electric bike owned by the city. I got to take it for a spin and what a surprise, smooth ride and so simple to manage. Would love to try it on my grocery getter
loaded and with strong head wind.
